Manual Movement does not work

Post by chhe » Wed Mar 21, 2018 1:52 am

Hello,

I just assembled my Prusa i3 W. If I control the Axis via the display it all works fine. Move home does work fine, too.

But if I want to control it manually it does not work in EasyPrint 3D.

What is the issue?

Thank you!

in easyprint 3d the make sure you have the right com port and check the buad rate. Mine was set to 256000 and it should be 250000 at 256000 mine would not move either.

I gave up with EasyPrint as it wouldn't communicate properly (as soon as it connected the bottom line of LCD display showed random junk characters).

Installed Repetier-Host and have full control.

Ah, that’s frustrating – when your newly bought device doesn’t work. I hope you find a way to make it work. A friend of mine was facing the same issue with his Prusa i3 W. I will ask him how he fixed it. However, first I have to look for an online domain finder tool, to see if my desired domain name for an online footwear store is available or not.
