i3 proc extruder stepper

Post by martyray » Sat Dec 12, 2020 8:22 pm

need some assistance

ive assembles my i3 pro c.
X,Y and Z steppers all working well.
the extruder motors wont feed the filament.
ive checked the voltage as per this thread (http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=17038) and they seem to be correct.
if i connect the extruder motors to the X,Y or Z cable, they function as they should and feed the filament
when i connect the X,Y or Z steppers to the extruder port on the GT 2560 board, the don't function.
what am i doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I bought it late last year for my 10yo son to have for his birthday/Christmas present. I bought it off Ebay and the seller there gave me the run around saying that I've assembled it wrong. I couldn't argue with that as my son put it together himself almost completely. They required me to post a YouTube video detailing the issue and showing I've tried plugging different motors into different ports and then send them a link, but I just didn't have the time.

I wonder how long their warranty is?

Do Geetech deal with warranties or will they refer me to my retailer?
