Hi everybody,

will release the latest stable version of Marlin 2.0 for the GT I3A PRO. This firmware is not for people who do not know exactly how to adapt Marlin to their needs. I highly modified my printer so please read carefully: :!: :!: :!:

- Had to remove some Marlin features like arc_support, sound, boot screen, runout_sensor to get this running on the 8bit board, because it has not enough memory!

- This firmware works with 3D-Touch or BL-Touch. There is no option for manual bed leveling.

- Go and find your own PID-settings for extruder and bed!

- Calibrate e-steps for your extruder and if needed check x,y,z axis!

- I installed TMC2208 stepper driver for running the printer in stealh chop! If you have A4988 you need to change that in Marlin.

- I use my own extruder mount, so please check the probe offset and limits for the bed size!

HAPPY PRINTING!

Here are the config's for the "out of the box" printer setup. Adapted the orignal firmware to Version 2.0.5.4.

- Manual bed leveling
- Babysteps
- Better thermal protection
- Junc-deviation
- Linear advanced 1.5

You still have to do a PID-tuning for the extruder and bed. Also calibrate e-steps for your extuder!

Just replace the two files in your /Marlin directory.

Marlin 2.0.5.4 for I3A Pro (with lead screw upgrade) is a free open source firmware that has many features and can be customized to suit your needs when printing 3D models, but it also has some downsides which are not present in other https://assignmentman.co.uk/ firmware like Ultimate or Maker ware which have more intuitive interfaces and an easier setup process.
