Z axis problem

Post by novawaves » Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:33 pm

Hi geekd

I need help

My problem is that the z axis turns but i think it turns bot enough therefore the printed object is flat and only 4 layer high

I look to the steper motors and they turn after layer change but i think they turn to little. I changed the step motor controllers between z and x axis without success.

I used cura for the first time and the fine with 0.1mm also i try some gcodes but i dont know now which one. Before that everything was ok

I tried also a firmware reflash without success.

I think it is no mechanical problem only a software variable one.

Please help me what i can try and how to reset everything to factory defaults.

Thx

Yes the z motor turn when u use the manual controll from easyprint 3d and it moves up regulary

My guess is that the z axis moves not enough because manualy it dont hang at a specially position

In cura i have select the prusa i3

The test objects inprinted are flat and 4 layers high

I calibrate the distance from the left and right motor so it is right horizontal

Hi, can you control the z-axis movement through the screen?
Such as increasing the z-axis by 10,
If moving to a certain location is difficult,
You can check if the z-axis threaded rod is bent,
Is the coupling installed correctly?
Whether the left and right z axes are on the same horizontal line.

I used a slide gauge to check it is horizontal ok

Yes i can manuelly move x steps

And the z axis move up right

The rod is a little bend when it turns i can see but this was also so before and the printer works right.

Should i disassembly everything to rebuild?

Can i define the z axis step high much more so that the movement z is right

Here are some videos of the printing process

I think the printer moves the z axis not enough so there is a factory variable changed or so?

Please help!

hi

yes it prints normal the first layers but when the object is higher than 1mm the extruder squish the object so i think the movement of the z axis is not right.
befor that problem everysthing was right but than i have used some G-Codes but i dont know which one.

therefore i have tought i reflash the firmware but without success. the printer dont print normaly! look at my printed object there you see the problem

i move the z axis manually and there is no resistance on the z axis and the movement is normal over the stepper motors
