exchange extruder 2 with bed in firmware

Post by ManSu » Fri Dec 13, 2019 4:43 am

hi all,

I have a i2 pro x with only one extruder and board gt2560 rev.A. sudenly, the bed stoped to work. sensor and bed is fine (pluged in the extruder the bed worms up and the sensor provides the correct temp.). The led of the bed connector is on but with much less intensity than that of the extruder. i checked with the oscilloscope and no good signal at the input of the MOS transistor. So... my idea is modify the firmware and exchange the pins asigned to extruder with the asigned to the bed, therefore, use the second extruder connector for the bed.
I downloaded the marlin-pi3_X2 and i3_pro_X. Can someone tell me which lines should i modify and the new values?
I have the arduino ide for small and simple projects. It is ok to upload the firmware or is recomendable the firmware toolkit?
Best,
M
