A30T Bricked Board?!?!
Hey all, I need major help. I uploaded firmware for the base A30, v1.36, to my A30T, which needs v1.0.2, and now I can't get anything to work. All I get when I power it on is a blank screen and my z-axis constantly moves down even when it reaches the endstops. How do I fix this?!?! I really dont want to have to buy a new board.
Re: A30T Bricked Board?!?!
Hello, you only need to restore the firmware. Updating the wrong firmware causes the printer to malfunction.

How do I restore original firmware? I've tried using a reformatted SD card with the correct firmware bin file and plugging it into the SD card slot on the outside of the machine, then turning on the machine but it does not flash the firmware from the SD card. I've tried doing a forced install using Smartto but that doesnt work either. What do I do to restore to factory firmware?

downloading the program https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?version_id=483
download firmware https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?version_id=474
connect your computer (laptop) to the printer
in the downloaded archive with the program, run the file main.exe
at the top left, select the com port
drag the firmware into the right window
and at the bottom of the right window you press upgrade from local
