Need Guidance about Printing

Post by sidubutt » Tue Nov 09, 2021 5:57 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm having some issues with a helmet model im trying to print. I modeled it myself in blender and exported it as a stl, the issue could be my own fault as I am new to modeling. Im having an issue with my creality cr-10 just...skipping over the bottom half of the helmet. I've tried different orientations, sizes, infill percentages, supports. Ive messed with just about every setting i can think of and nothing seems to work. Like it loads up perfectly in cura, its not like the model is missing half of itself there, but whenever i send it over to the chat apps printernis just doesnt want to touch that bottom half. I'll link some images Of the model and my prints so you guys can see what im talking about. I could use some help on this, im out of my realm of expertise here. The solution may be super simple and im just too much of a noob to know xD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I think you should slice the model, and preview it, let's check the outcome.
You can also give me the stl file, so that we can check the model for you.
