I have one of the first Acrylic I3 ProB printers and my hotend now heats 35-40 degrees higher that it's set for. I've changed thermistors twice with no joy - so swapped boards thinking it was the firmware. But the the problem with hotend is still there, and the new board must be for the T8 rods (mine has the M10's) - the Z just crawls a couple inches and stops. I don't know how to set it - the LCD 'load' and 'save' features reset after power down.
Do you have the old version of firmware available or can tell me how to check set this. I have gone over the Arduino thread but guess I am not smart enough. I use this printer every day and miss it. I hope you can help

is it possible to get Marlin 1.1.9 for the Pro W? Or at least a list of the values that have to be changed in the original firmware?

Don't use the latest arduino version, usually the latest one will cause this problem, it's not the firmware's problem, try to use arduino1.0.1 or arduino 1.5.2.
Hi, iam very new at 3d printing, do i have to download the Ramps file and the Marlin file? or which one do i need? I have the Prusa I3 pro B, and the board is the GT2560, but iam kind of lost, not sure what to do. thanks for the help!
Hi,you can go through the official website: https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?download_id=34

download the HEX file,

connect to the printer and update the firmware via

Cura settings -printer-mange printer.

I hope this can help you.
