My present extruder port stopped working. I feel since there is additional 2 extruder ports, I can still use any of them.
Kindly send firmware to enable me use other hotend extruder ports Thank you.

@nerodear
Your printer is M201?If so,it means you have 2 extruder ports in use?

No. The printer uses one extruder. Its a 2 in 1 config. (Two extruder motor feeding one hotend). The present hotend port is not functioning. I need the hex firmware to activate another hotend together with its corresponding temperature sensor port. Thanks a lot.

Looks like you just have one extruder port broken?
I guess you don't need to modify the firmware, you just need change the proportion of "Filament 0/Filament 1" in "Mixer",increasing the filament proportion of the working extruder port to 100%.
PS.The firmware is not open source,so we can't modify the firmware...

See....the printer has only one hotend (extruder)(two extruder motors feeding one hotend(extruder)). The problem here is that, the hotend (extruder) no longer heats up. When I unplugged it and connect it to a 24v supply, it becomes hot but when you put it back on the board and u turn on the pre heating on the LCD, the hot end remains cold. Kindly advice on what to do. Thank you. My email: nerodear@yahoo.com

What is your temp display for extruder on LCD?
1)If it is "0/0",you should check if the extruder thermistor has an open circuit.Cuz the extruder heater will not work when it doesn't detect any temp.
2)If it is "room temperature/0",you can refer to the following post:

Hi all 3d Printer Dudes
I just Upgraded My M201 Firmware successfully to the 1.0.5 FW ( bought 2 month ago with the 1.0.4 FW ) , because I need to make some changes to the step/mm for Feeders , cause I just upgrade the original one to 2 alluminium feeders , but the pulley are different and I have to change values to work with sufficient extruded filament , as I read here , I need to play with M92 Gcode values but all modification for these settings are lost as soon as the printer is powered off .
My question is :
it is possible to strore permanently the new values for the step/mm for the Feeders or do I have to include this modification into the start script for the slicer ?
( I didn't play with this values yet but I'm working on this actualy )
Thanx in advance for all your suggestions and tips :) Happy printing to all :)

Hi,@yam1000r1@yahoo.fr
You can modify the "Step/mm" in the menu "Control->Motion",and "Control->Store memory" after the modifying. Then it will work in your next turning on.
