Extruder invert motor direction

Post by lezabour » Fri Jul 29, 2016 12:18 am

Hi,

I have a problem with my prusa i3 pro C. The extruder are configurated in the wrong order.
When i use repeatier host to extrude, it retract.
When i want to retract, it extrude.
Result is i cant print.

What do i have to change in the firmware?
I supposed this is here
#define INVERT_E0_DIR true // for direct drive extruder v9 set to true, for geared extruder set to false
#define INVERT_E1_DIR false // for direct drive extruder v9 set to true, for geared extruder set to false
#define INVERT_E2_DIR false // for direct drive extruder v9 set to true, for geared extruder set to false

Do i put all in true?

Thanks for help

Hi,
You are right, these codes are controlling the extruders' direction.

Firstly,as you know your Pro C has two extruders, you'd better figure out which extruder's direction is wrong or the two both wrong.

Then you can invert the value(E0\E1),finally upload the firmware.

Out of curiosity (and because I can't find the answer online), if E0 = Extruder #1 and E1 = Extruder #2, what does E2 control??

Extruder invert motor direction, We need to check different devices which help us to solve or to complete our work too fast. I am not saying you to come and use these brill assignment review devices, I am just saying that you can easily save your time and complete your work too quick.
