Not sure of your exact problem but the extruder hot end needs to be at approx 170 degrees to operate the extruder stepper motor. That value is set in the Marlin firmware

I have uploaded the updated firmware but it still is not extruding. I have removed the stepper motor and tried running it without anything to stop it but it still is not turning properly. I though I might have a bad wire so I swapped out the wire and no luck.

Here is my motor not doing it's thing:

These forums are painfully slow due to the way they are moderated.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken.

I am getting hardly any current to my extruder stepper motor.

I adjusted the potentiometer on the driver for the extruder and it does not seem to be raising or lowering the voltage and current flow.

I installed a new driver and am having the same power issue.

I unplugged the stepper motor that is connected to my extruder and moved it to the x axis plug on my GT2560 board and the stepper works fine there.

New driver onto the GT2560 board which came with my kit and I am still not getting enough power in that plug to power my stepper.

Did I get a bad board with my kit?

the pins on the back of the connector, is there any solder bridge that might short out the circuit? and you can check this link to see if there's something missed:

No solder problems.

I have swapped drivers, wires and motors and the extruder is not working reliably. It'll work intermittently. If I plug the extruder motor into the x-axis plug it runs like a charm. At this point I'm convinced my brand new GT2560 is bad.
