Unclogging filament plug NEAR but not in hotend?

Post by danielh93 » Wed Apr 28, 2021 3:08 am

It seems like filament can get clogged between the outside of the extruder head (end of white tubing) and the area before hitting the hotend.

The plug is hard to reach and doesn't get heated (tested only up to 220C). Should I turn it up higher and try to melt the plug?

Hello, according to your description, your Teflon tube should not be inserted enough into the hotend. Please reinstall the Teflon tube to ensure that it is deep enough into the throat.
