Struggling to print in PVA and PLA

Has anyone been able to get this to work correctly? I have been unable to print using a PVA support structure and PLA as the primary material. I am using CURA to slice, and it generates the support structures in PVA. It seems like the PVA material gets stuck and it never prints, only the PLA prints, causing the prints to fail catastrophically. I am using Monoprice PVA, printing at 195 C, and PLA at 205 C.
