When the configuration of 2 boards is same, if you select the correct board type when using Arduino IDE and compiling, it will work.

Generally, every type of mainboard has a corresponding firmware. So if you burn Sangunololu firmware into mega2560, there must be difference.

Could you tell me the type of mainboard so that I can send relevant firmware to you .
