Blown Fuse on power socket

Post by Viresneaker » Sun Oct 21, 2018 7:06 pm

Hello I bought my Geeetech I3 Aluminum form Amazon and it worked great until yesterday. (EU-Version)

I printed a case for my power supply and I forgott to take a picture on the cable routing of my switch.
So the result is that the fuse blown on my power socket plug.

My question is which fuse do I need. I know that I need a 250V with a dimension of 5x20 mm but I can't read the current on the fuse.( For me it looks like a 3A fuse).

My second question is if the new cable routing of my switch is correct.

Hi

The PSU should have a sticker with parameters.
There should be written a current, which is drawn from the mains at maximum load.

Hello thank you for the reply.

Input Power supply: 115V/1.5A or 230V/0.75A

So I need a Fuse with 0.75 A?

Or do I need a 10A because it is written on the Plug plastic (250V/10A)

On the blown Fuse is wirtten F_ 3 or 5 / 250V (can't read the current because of bad visibility)

That is why I am so confused what I need to use.
