Hi, i have a20m with the same issue lots of stringin, should those settings work too? 200 travel speed is not way too much?

Vert...Please forgive me as I am new to the 3d print world. I am fairly intelligent and can usually pick up things quickly but may ask simple or unusual questions along the way. So, here we go. In the pic you posted earlier, you said you removed the metal discs from the extruder and it helped with stringing, which I am having issues with. Before I remove them, for what reason are the metal discs originally put in there?

I have done all of the different things that have been suggested except for removing the metal discs from the extruders. I have adjusted speeds, temps, retraction settings. I have tried Cura and Slic3r with different settings with no extreme changes. You would think modifying the machines parts would be contradictory to finding solutions. I will attempt to remove the discs and try it again. If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hi, you can adjust your print speed to around 30 and then increase the distance and speed of the drawback.

I believe the small disks are there in order to prevent filament from extruder one to go up the tube for filament 2, and the other way around (at least that is the problem I had). I don't think it is ok to remove them.

it is true they are intended as anti back flow but it is also true these disks are the direct cause of 100s of other issues and when there removed there are zero noted draw backs.
they need to stop putting these disks in at the factory they are self sabotaging there own products with them.
many of my discord users have done this and all of there issues went away and had no issues since its been many months since they did this.
How exactly do you remove those discs? do I unscrew them or use a punch?

This looks pretty good Naciron. You said "default retraction settings" - can you give the actual numbers that you used? I'm guessing this is PLA. Thanks!

Default is 6.5/40mm if you have calibrated E-steps in firmware.

I have it in factory settings by many reasons, but measured multiplier is 1.31, used 1.23 to 1.29 (by print speed).

If you do not, you must change this setting in the firmware. Mine was limited to 25mm/sec regardless of what my slicer settings were. Updated to Marlin 2.0.1 and removed such limitations with extremely successful results.

The FANs are not faulty as I tested them both by opening the main board and powering the FANs by 12v directly. Both of them turned on without an issue. The problem must be either with the board or I was hoping there could be something in the firmware to be modified to make the FANs run.

Do you have A10M too? If you do, could you please let me know that all the FANs located in the extruder worked for you right out of the box and you didn't have to change anything to make them work? auto clicker
