problems setting up 3d touch

Post by stef666 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 1:11 pm

Just added the 3d touch sensor to my A10. I disconnected the z axis stopper but now i cant get bed close enough to the hot end. When the sensor operates it stops the hot end from getting close enough to the bed. Ive adjusted the sensor up and down. When i try to move the z axis lower via the lcd box it can only go to zero and not into minus which it seems where it needs to be
Can anyone give me an insight to what i need to do ?

hi thanks for the reply. Yes i have done both. That was the easy part :D
It appears the z axis doesnt go as low as it did when the stop switch for z axis was connected, I would guess about 10 15 mm higher. Even if i lift the plate to the highest (undo levelling screws) i can,t in any way or form get close to .3mm let alone 3mm
