Acrylic to aluminum frame upgrade?

Hi there,

I have a Prusa i3 Pro C and I'm thinking about upgrading to aluminium frame.
Someone here did an upgrade like this? My goal is to reuse the main board and all the steppers and so on.

I'd like to get some feedback about it.
