X-Carriage Replacement

Post by Mr.Hotwire » Mon Jun 24, 2019 9:23 am

Good day,

I purchased an I3PC, and have found that the bearing clamps on the X axis have cracked. These are obviously printed parts, perhaps the previous owner has swapped them out and printed using PLA.

Has anyone had experience with replacing them, and what filament did you use to do so? Do you have a link to the STL's that you used? As there are a few on thingiverse I am not 100% sure which are the right ones.

Hi, you need to loosen the belt and then install the belt clip and adjust the belt to a moderate degree of tightness.

Good idea, I will look into it. I have printed off a set, But I will be doing some modifications to them to help make them more stable.
