Extruder board port not working

Post by mtx4 » Thu Sep 03, 2020 5:42 pm

Hi,

the extruder port of my 2560 rev A+ board doesn't work more. The motor itself works driving it from another port axis, and the stepper driver works also because I switched it with the driver of a different axis. So something in the E0 extruder port doesn't work.
What can I check into the board, maybe some components are bed and I can replace them.
Changing the firmware with E1 port is the only way to get a working extruder actually, but I would repair the board if possibile.

Hello, if you find that the problem is not the driver by replacing the driver, it may be a cable problem. You try to change the cable of another axis to see if it is the problem. It may also be a problem with the structure of the extruder.
You can refer to this link. :D

The ports on the motherboard and the motor are clean.
