I3 Pro B Initial Setup

Post by bobby_kinzer » Mon Dec 30, 2019 10:52 pm

I'm new to 3d printing and have hit a bit of a snag while setting up.
I have built the printer and all the motors are running freely.
I have setup using Repetier Host as per the instructions. The issue I have is that only the Y axis moves to the stopper when I click the home button. The X and Z axis' move very slightly in the wrong direction. It's as if they don't know their home position.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

:D Hi,You can first check whether the wiring on the motherboard is correct;

Check whether the limit switch is installed correctly;

If the running direction of the motor is different from the expected direction, you may need to modify the running direction of the motor in the firmware. For specific operations, you can refer to: viewtopic.php?f=17&t= 17037

If the motor runs in only one direction, you can connect the printer to the manual control of the Repetier Host and enter M119 to view the limit switch. For details, you can refer to: http://geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic. php? f = 17 & t = 60927
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
