Hi, If your z-axis threaded rod is T8, the normal step value should be 400.
If it is 2560, it may be too high.
For the calculation of the z-axis, you can refer to this: steps_per_mm = (motor_steps_per_rev * driver_microstep) / thread_pitch

Should that value be exactly 400 or can it possibly be somewhere around 400?
