Calibration Advice Needed

Post by LeLaGnu » Fri Aug 16, 2019 11:15 pm

Hello,

after having sorted out most of the things that I didn't understand or that were plainly wrong (A4988 positioning, endposition sensor wiring) in the manual, I'm currently reaching a dead end with my i3 Pro B. I tried to print simple things like a cube in the picture yet the print quality is still bad so I came here for advice. How and what would you change in the calibration to overcome the quality issues? Slower printing speed? Higher spring pressure in Extruder? Changes in PID?

My setup range:
Heatbed 55°-65°, Geeetech PLA only, Extruder 195°-210°, Original Marlin Firmware, Repetier-Server on RBPi 3b.

Thanks.

Hi, You can try:
1. Print within the appropriate print speed range: reference range 30-60mm / s;
2. Appropriately increase the printing temperature of the hot end, try to print at 210 ° to view the print results.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Hello William,

thanks for the advice. Max Speed for my extruder is currently set to 45 mm/s so I can still lower that one while printing at 210°C.
