Lower layer problems + warping

Post by Rbrks329 » Tue Sep 04, 2018 5:06 am

I've recently assembled the i3 pro b and after fixing some initial issues i went about printing a series of calibration cubes of varying quality. This is my most recent (and best quality) one so far. I'm really happy with how it turned out on the upper layers, but im trying to get that same level of quality on the first and lower layers with little success. There are huge gaps between lines, and some warping is occuring, even before the print has started cooling.

The bottom and top layers respectively, and the warping i described.

If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

It was printed at
extruder temp: 200C
Bed temp:70C
Layer heights:0.2mm

For the gaps:
Try to edit the width value in Repetier host, as default or 110%-120% of the nozzle diameter.
Or set the extrusion multiplier as 1.1.
Calibrate the E step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzZZaGmeX8w

For the warping:
Try to add Brim.
