E180 motor problems

Post by hmpf » Sat Jan 20, 2018 5:59 am

Hello!

After some successful prints I turned on my E180 today and wanted to check the leveling. But on entering the screen nothing happened, even when tapping the positions.
Then I tried the manual control. X and Y did something, but ended up in an end position with still full engine power (you could hear the hum). When you diabled the engines you could see them "relax" from the end position.
And Z did nothing at all still. The position showed 132mm , although it was all the way up.

Is something wrong with the positioning sensors? Anything I can reset there? Or try out?

Thanks
hmpf

Could you upload the video about the issue?
What info have I get is:
The voltage of A4988(blue type) seems not correct(0.7-1.0V)
A4988-BLUE.png
A4988-BLUE.png (307.91 KiB) Viewed 4787 times
You can use a multimeter for a test
How to increase it up to 0.7-1.0V?
You can adjust it by the top adjustable resistor
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Hi William,

I made a video of my issue. But I can not post attachments to this forum.
So I will send you a PM.

Regards,
Sebastian
