Voice Recognition module not working

I have recently purchased the Geeetech Voice recognition module , but i have encountered a problem now. The red light is no longer blink but remains on. The orange light is also on and not blinking. I also can not send or receive data from the module. Can you please advise me on what to do or how to reset the module?

Hi,
1. Please make sure to set the serial port baud rate (the default is 9600bps), and to record the sound correctly.
2. Select the serial port receiving method: Common mode or Compact mode.
3. Ensure the correct wiring method.

I have connected correctly, as i had it working prior to it not working.
As shown in the image attached, both the red and orange line remain illuminated at all times? i am unsure on what this means?
The software on my computer indicates that data is not sent and received from the module?
Any help will be great.
