FYSETC mini12864 v2.1 and GT2560 A+

Hi, I have a Geeetech i3 pro c with a GT2560 A+ card that works well with the supplied LCD2004 display.
I would like to fit a FYSETC Mini1284 display that I have (its the v2.1 version).
I have tried various combinations of settings that seem to apply to this full graphics controller but while the backlight comes on and the SD card is recognized the display remains blank.
At first I had problems uploading when the 12864 was plugged in but removing R4 from the 12864 fixed that.
Has anyone got this combination working ?? If so what setting do I need to make to the config files ??
