Starting out, getting LCD to work ?

Post by MontyFlange » Fri Jul 29, 2016 3:35 am

OK I think I have uploaded Marlin the to board. I have enabled the LCD

#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00L72FAZU

When I plug the USB cable in the LCD doesn't light up or do anything, If I turn the control dial a yellow LED flashes on the board.

I have LCD to Exp 1 and SD Card to Exp 2 on the LCD board.

IF I sawp the cables around the only way I can get anything is when I put a SD card in, the screen back light comes on ad the buzzer sounds.

Yer exactly the same problem. I just sanded off the tab on the cable end and turned it upside down.
