Adjust a line in Firmware

Post by cdorrian32 » Mon Jul 06, 2020 10:41 pm

Hi all,

So I upgraded my hot end to a Bigtreetech 2 in 1 out but I've run into an issue.

When preheating there is a larger swing in temperature around the desired value of about 10 degrees back and forth. This swing is so big that when I try to auto tune the PID settings it trips out because the temperature goes too high and so I cannot tune or print

I've been told I can restrict the power going to the heater cartridge to help resolve this however I have never touched firmware and dont even know where to begin.

Is anybody out there able to help? Totally at a loss right now as to what to do :/

Hi! You could refer to this.
Don't be afraid, there are a lot of guides about building fw with visual code and platformio!
