Full Metal HOTEND continous CORK/STOPPER

Post by wilcd » Sat Jun 21, 2014 2:30 pm

Hello,I purchased a Full Metal hotend for my Prusa i3,i suffer continuous plastic STOPPER/CORK after 1-2printings,i'm printing on 245-250 with ABS ,air cooler works ok after first layer .. the plastic cork is made between the end of the air sinker and the beginning of the nozzle metal …. once the plastic cork is made i disassembly and clean it using a hot air gun , the hot end works again but after 1-2printing tests i get the same problem again and again ?

I'm not able to fix this permanently…i did purchase full metal jhead because it claims stops this kind of problems but i got this issue , what can i do ?

Thanks in advance

1.heating the hotend
2.Release the screws in your hotend

3.Unscrew your hotend and clean up your abs(keep heating)
4.Tighten the hotend
5.Tighten the Release the screws
now you can enjoy printing

you don't need to clean the hot end each 1-2printings,the problem isthat the choke is not tightened
