Problem with prusa i3 prow

Post by Rubengg » Thu Mar 26, 2020 3:59 am

Some time ago i got a geetech prusa i3 pro w, and recently ir has been giving me some problems. It will print perfectly for a while, then suddenly stop printing and enter in a cycle of aproximately 4 seconds, in which:
-the lcd screen will turn on and off
- the y axis motor makes 2 clanking sounds, in between of which it blocks itself
-an orange led blinks twice in the motherboard, which is the model gt2560 rev A+, specifically the led in the middle above an L.
Please help, becouse this problem has ruined several prints and tends to happen quite late, though it seems to happen at any time.
Thank you for your time

Hi, Is there a pause command in your print file,
You can change the model and re-slice for printing.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Hi, do you print via USB or sd card?
You can try to update the firmware, use the official website firmware,
Upload with firmware toolkit,
Then print it,
If the pause persists,
There may be a problem with the motherboard chip.
