The most secure for the controller board would be if you used the power supply terminals.
You can route additional wires.

The proposed circuit diagram is worth reviewing. However, it does not show the thickness of the circuit wire on the PCB..
The current transfer depends on them. The higher the current flowing, the thicker the wire should be. ;)
