Adjusting the stepper driver pots

Post by darekp » Wed Oct 28, 2015 11:02 pm

I have a rostock mini delta G2s I'm dealing with a problem of shifting layers/y-axis stepper skipping steps every now and then. I'm trying to exclude everything that could cause the problem, hardware and software wise. I addressed some of the software issues already and I'm almost done dealing with the hardware. What's left on the hardware side is to check the voltage settings for stepper driving modules. I have mine set to .660v but I've read here and there they should be set to .47- .5v What are the voltage values on your drivers?

Usually is 0.8-1.0V, I think your voltage is too low that cause the problem, check it here:

When you adjust the pot do you need/want the stepper motors connected or disconnected?
