No, "Sanguino-0101r1.zip" is not Marlin firmware, it is a board type, you can't find sanguinololu's board type in Arduino IDE without it.
Other files are not firmware or correct firmware. Sorry for confusing you. We will delete them.
We don't share Marlin firmware online. If our customers need firmware, we will send them privately.
You can refer to this page to see more details:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 14&t=16097
If you have no firmware, please tell me your email address, I will send you.

I don't know if im doing this right..On adruino..when I hit the upload button..it says compiling sketch..Then I see the upload bar..Then it says upload finished..

This is what I see at the bottom of adruino..It says

Binary sketch size 52,348 bytes (of a 258,048 byte maximum)
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_receiveMessage () : timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_getsync () : timeout communication with programmer

P.s on the board selection I selected ardruino mega 2560 or mega ADk

If you mainboard type is Sanguinololu, the board type should be "Sanguino W/ATmega1284p 16mhz".

You did not save the board type of Sanguinololu in Arduino IDE.
You can refer to this page to learn how to upload firmware:
