I'm not able to get the printrboard to enter bootloader mode so I can load firmware. I've attempted to follow the directions located at http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/Printerboard, but am still unsuccessful.
lsusb always indicates the device is VOTI whether I leave the boot jumper on or take it off.
what am i doing wrong?

Re: Printerboard doesn't enter boot mode
I got it figured out, but needed to find the schematic in order to do it. First, to answer your question, I tried Ubuntu and Windows 7 on two separate Printrboard cards. Same results with both.
After checking the voltage on the reset switch pins, I found that the switch was not working. I attempted the reset by shorting the contacts with a screwdriver and viola!, boot mode.
Both cards appear to have inoperative reset switches. If you press down and wiggle the switch, it pulls the reset pin on the processor low but not apparently long enough to reset. A screwdriver across the switch terminals does the trick.
