Re: gen6 unresponsive

First I do currently have an operational gen6 that is like 3 years old which registers com5. so I decided to buy another but I something is just not right. I know the board is on com6. I have it plugged into the usb and the endstops and motors hooked up. When I power the getech gen6 up the debug led lights and the motors run one way for a while then they run the other way for a while. I haven't been able to upload or download anything to it because I get error. my original gen6 never gave me any hassle it all just worked the way it was supposed to. Which firmware does the gen6 I purchased from getech have with it? Why wont it let me upload to it?
