A30M Poor Colour Mixing

Post by Deadeye » Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:29 pm

I found when i printed with two colours simultaneously (I was using 50% black and white, hoping to get grey) I found it wasn’t mixing very well. On the nozzle side the black was coming in it was black and on the other side where the white was coming in it was white; It was grey between them. How to get them the filiments mix properly?

Hi, Black supplies may have higher temperature requirements.
You can try increasing the temperature by 5-10.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.

Black need lower temp, white higher. But mixing is possible. Stringing is terrible....

The mixing coulours what you find is FEATURE of mixer hotend. Solution to have smooth colours is possible (look at my messages here, described few weeks ago), but chinese sellers sell me steel nozzles instead of brass what I want. Geee did not have MK10 nozzles with 4mm cave.

TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
