Not printing gradient?

Ok to be fair the test print worked and im missing something.

I got the A20T for my birthday and so far i love it, the test file was great and all other files work fine except any other file i use doesent print as a gradient.

I grab my file of thingiverse, i get the gcode through slicer then run that through Geetech colour mixer yet i dont get the gradient.

apart from strigning everything else is fine (except for the print bed, do i print on the plastic or the metal and how do i properly get the print off).

so i hope i have given enough information to see what im missing, i love this printer but im just at a loss of getting this part working.

I would like to add I have just found a slight workaround, I can set the gradient on the printer itself, but I can't figure out the auto part.
