Can you write text on flat surface (hotplate side)

Post by DemonDNF » Sat Jan 11, 2020 12:27 pm

Hi, I'm looking at the A20M on amazon and wanted to know if this printer can print fine text within the "top" finished surface. My goal is to print a part with incriptions on it; similar to text on a remote, television, radio or other devices.

Has anyone achieved this? Any pictures?

Is there a sample print that does this function to help calibration?

My plan is to write at least nozzle width (.04).

Thanks!

Use laser with appropriate material coating, not 3D printer.

TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
