Power connector GT2560

Post by GiGaconcept.com » Thu Oct 08, 2015 10:09 pm

Hi,
I am looking for the power connector specs for the GT2560.
Would this be Molex 39-01-2040 on the power supply wires?
(Molex 39-28-1043 on the board)

The molex connector is not good. The pins and sockets are not made of good materials to support high currents. Mine burnt out after some heavy use on my G2S. I de-soldered and threw away both sides of the connectors. Cut off a short length of the wires and solder 2 pieces of XT60 connectors to them, male one side and female on the other. Make sure your polarity is correct. I have no more issue.

Hi,
My husband and I have had the same problem, but not totally damaged. We have XT60 connectors from our RC hobby. Can you post a picture of exactly how you connected to the board.

Sorry, forget my previous post I thought you were talking about the 3 green sockets where the hotend and heatbed connect to the board.
