Hello William, as I understand, the SD-Card reader only recognizes *.gco files but no *.gcode files any more. This is a problem of the latest firmware, that only *.gco is recognised but not *.gcode. Therefore, shaking or replacing of the cable will not fix the problem :D A new fir.ware is required! ...

Have You tried to change the extrusion multiplier for the filament?

Depending on filament, nozzle etc. You should change it from 1.0 to 1.1 or 1.2.
