GT2560 PWM fan, maybe broken
So I bought a proper PWM fan to use with my board as I got sick of having to unplug the parts cooling fan manually. I can't get it working at all and after a load of fiddling I later learnt that I have to be really careful in how I plug them together. I understand that if I get them in the wrong way...

Re: Layer fan/parts cooler/blower working examples
Yeah, that’s the one I’m talking about. But as I’ve said, it isn’t working how other people seem to describe it. I’m not even sure if have the correct type of fan. I wouldn’t typically say a 2 pin fan can be speed controlled but everyone talks like it can be. When I search PWM on 40mm fans they almo...

Re: 3D touch/Pro W won't home
I never managed to get it working with Marlin 1. I used Marlin 2 and managed to figure it out from there. There’s an example config out there that uses the Z MAX pins instead of Z MIN but I had to change it to just use Z MIN to get it working.

Re: Extruder motor not moving
Thanks for the replies guys. I realised I could hook up a serial monitor and listen to what the printer thinking so I did that. Turns out the software wouldn’t move the printer because the extruder wasn’t hot, so there was never a problem after all. I think this really was a solution so basic to mos...

Extruder motor not moving
I’ve already been in touch with Geeetech support over this but I thought I’d just post here in case I’ve missed something obvious. I’ve finished building an I3 Pro B but when I move the motors through the LCD menu the extruder never moves. Geeetech even sent me a new GT2560 and the new one has the s...
