Re: Filament stuck in the bowden tube

If it's inland Filament from Microcenter, that is the main problem... that white pla is gunky as fu*k... I have to print at 210C to keep it moving smooth and it always clogs the head when I change..
You can use a skewer to clean the line after you remove it.. or get another one from ebay or wish.

Re: You can't imagine how much I regret buying this E180

yeah the E180 is a dog. But since you have it already... look for the post I put up on switching and cleaning the nozzle... and here is the site where you can get the settings for cura, Which is much easier to use then their Easy 3d (based on an earlier version of cura that seems to be buggy as hell...

Did you try to reseat the nozzle? the first 5mins of this video shows how the remove the hot end and reseating it. Also shows how to use the software leveling system the geeetech uses.

Re: Problems I am having with the E180

I found one on ebay for 26 dollars so not that bad expense wise.. I got both heads then came with the printer working but they very prone to clogging. Simple 3d software is still so buggy that I'm hating it. When it works it works good. But it crashes about every 3rd slicing job. And will forget sup...

Re: Problems I am having with the E180

hmm yours has a little nub or button? mine has a screw thread.. I wound up taking the whole print head assembly apart to change the removable head.. annoying but not too hard. Not liking the fact it is impossible to just replace the brass head. How much to replacement heads cost? how long for them t...

Re: Problems I am having with the E180

Never mind, while searching on youtube about how to post I found a few videos on how to clean a nozzle head. Basically I had to disconnect the feed tube and keep working the pla in and out of the chamber till I pulled it or forced it out. Annoying but simple once I figured it out. For those followin...

Re: Problems I am having with the E180

The nozzle is clogged. You sent me an extra nozzle to replace it.. how do I replace it? there is nothing in any documents or FAQ on your printer on how to do this. It is a hardware issue.. there is not enough pla coming out of the nozzle. You want to see a video of plastic not coming out of the prin...
