Re: plug for heatbed gets hot
Hi _kaktus_, thanks for your helpful suggestions. I was able to file away the corrision, now the pin looks pretty shiny again :D . And this solved the issue for now. No more "the head element stops" error messages. Looks like this reduced the resistance to a level where the plug doesnt get warm anym...

Re: Newbie issues with first print
Hi Dave, those two rectangular black molded supports are not needed to operate the printer. Their only purpose is to have two things with identical height to adjust both sides manually of the z-axis before printing/leveling. You told that the PLA would not stick to the bed and extrusion would start ...

plug for heatbed gets hot
Hi, since yesterday the heatbed of my A30 stops heating midprint. I just noticed that the power plug for the heatbox gets pretty warm when the heatbeds is doing its job. Is this normal? Or can this be the cause of my heatbed stopping midprint. When I take look at the connector itself, I can see see ...

Re: UI files for A30/The screen displayed not correct or black screen
Why not use zip which is free in terms of open source and suppoted out of the box on every os? Winrar is closed source and a somewhat shitty compression tool^^. I thought it would be dead since the ages of p2p filesharing.

Re: [SOLVED] printer stops every time mid print
z-hop to avoid scratches on the first layer. And 100% fan on the first layer to reduce the change of warping. Tbh, printed objects on my printer tend to bending on the lower right end of the printbed. I had bending/warping issues when idling the fan for the first layers. Since I changed it to 100% f...

Re: printer stops every time mid print
I was able to solve my issue by updating to the 1.36.57 firmware. I have no idea, why the printer started pausing mid print. But the issue seems to be gone for now. So if someone else is experiencing this issue, just update to the newest stable firmware version. The gcode file looks normal to me, bu...

Okay, I just managed to open the rar files... and it took me a while to realize, that you have to store them on the internal SD. Not the removable one^^.

[SOLVED] printer stops every time mid print
Hi, since yesterday I am unable to print with my A30 printer anymore. No matter what I try to print, the printer pauses after lets say 16 layers or so. When i manually resume the print, the printer moves the printhead back to last position just to pause the print immediately again. I print via SD ca...

Re: z axis vibration
Thanks a lot for the very in detail explanations of this issue. Interesstingly, this issue went away after printing a lot. Looks like the z-axis rods got bent during some prints, so the clicking/shaking doesnt happen anymore. Nevertheless, I printed two of those things https://www.thingiverse.com/th...
