For me it's clear: I will not buy a diy printer with closed source software.
I even saw comments of other people that bought it that got tired of the firmware, and replaced the controller with an arduino platform so they could load opensource firmware.

Hello, I was considering to buy this printer, but could not find an answer to this question. Is the firmware for this model open sourced and available somewhere? For a DIY printer I think it is absolutely necessary that the firmware is open, so that I can tweak it myself if I need to. But also havin...
