Yup. Still there are the way to happiness. If code for GT2560 or other board used is open source: Find PWM multiplier constant in module which controls the width of pulse, and add some lenght to pulse time. Not sure, but may be you must correct a bit ghisteresis of regulation too, shotten it a bit, ...

Right now I am not sure how it is powered - by PWM or just on/off. If second way, - a simple relay will help you and others. Just connect this relay, rated for 16 A current, instead of heating bed, and control it trough other power supply, intended for heat bed only. You can use any volgate you want...

If the resistance only is problem - use The Low of Ohm: if you rise voltage, power will rise too on same resistance.
